It always interests me to see that I have new followers/shares/reblogs from people that I don’t know personally, and I wonder how it is that they happened across my blog? I love it actually!!

So in an attempt to add some of my own personality to my blog so you can get to know me (and hopefully start a chain reaction so I can get to know YOU), here is a little about myself.

First and foremost, I love photography. www.rachelzeephotography.com to see my work :)

I have to stop myself from being online for too long because I could literally spend about 14 hours straight looking at fashion photography blogs. What it is about pictures of clothes, I don’t know. Color, texture, shape…… I love design!

I don’t have a microwave and I refuse to use one. Thought I’d get a little random here. I’m no scientist, but something tells me eating something “nuked” is not safe… and really, when was the last time you had a great tasting healthy meal from a microwave? That couldn’t have been better re-heated on a stove??

I like instagram. It’s my favorite app. Follow me: rachelzeephoto. I’m completely addicted to my iPhone. But who isn’t?!

If the microwave fact didn’t tip you off, I’m pretty “weird” about what I eat! Over the past few years, I have slowly adopted a plant-based diet. While my diet is by no means the perfect vegan diet quite yet, I have made a lot of small changes over time that have improved my health significantly. I’ll make it a point to start sharing some of the changes I have made, but in the meantime, some great resources are Kris Carr’s Crazy Sexy Diet and Alicia Silverstone’s The Kind Diet (which I’m in the middle of right now!)

Hmm, what else….. I am NOT a crazy cat lady. But I do love my kitties :). Leia definitely takes her princess role seriously and can be quite the handful. LeeLee has to be within a foot of me at all times (it’s sweet) sleeping with me, waiting outside the shower when I’m in it, next to me (right now) while I work at the computer… gotta love the unconditional love of pets!

Aaaaand I love to bargain shop. Buying used clothes is the best for lots of reasons! 1. It saves you $$, 2. It’s recycling and therefore cutting down the use of our world’s precious resources, 3. You get the thrill of finding something unique! All wins.
